“If you’re going through hell, keep going.” — Winston Churchill
“We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.” — Chuck Swindoll
My journey began in my place of birth, the Bronx, NY. In this fast-paced multicultural playground, I began where most of us start, at the beginning. Entry Level.
In my early days, I was an admin assistant in HR at the Department of Girl Scouts of the USA. Following my time there, my path led me to Mt. Sinai Medical Center. A significant move that advanced my career. This was the training ground that prepared me for management and executive-level leadership.
It's Her Turn!
My career was thriving in every way, and I found enormous success in my professional life. From the outside looking in, everything seemed to be as it should be, and you would think I was living my dream.
However, in 2016, my life took a drastic unimaginable shift. And I knew nothing would ever be the same. On a Saturday afternoon, I found my father lifeless in his apartment. This loss was abrupt and deep. Being unable to see or speak with him ever again, that grief ripped me apart.
Something again rocked my world with the loss of 2 more close relatives within the next years. The grief continued. My relationship of three years shockingly ended with heartbreak and infidelity.
Sometimes in life, it doesn't just rain; it pours
Amid all that was going on, I needed to take stock of all that I had been through. Losing a parent like that took an unexpected toll. Losing a few people paramount in my life and relationship was too much. I sunk into a functional depression which led me to therapy and coaching.
Unexpected Plot Twist
God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3
The Recovery Room is a coaching program that helps women heal from the effects of infidelity. You must be ready and willing to heal and remove the person who hurt you from the equation.
Instead of giving your energy to what happened to you, you focus on yourself and what needs to be healed instead of giving in to a scenario that has confined you to a vicious cycle of victimhood.

The importance of asking for help cannot be overstated. Being aware of your limitations is essential. Your determination to heal and overcome must supersede the notion that you are weak when you lean on others, when you need some help.
My time in The Recovery Room changed my path for the better. My exceptional coach, Tray Kearney, said something that stayed with me and I will share here:
Truth + Transparency = Healing

Part of this truth meant allowing those who cared about me know I was not doing okay. Initially, admitting this was very difficult. I struggled with feeling sad, mad, embarrassed, humiliated, distraught, and unbelievably lost.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
Different Me, New Version
From 2018 to 2020, I did the work on myself. When COVID happened and they shut the world down, what could have kept me in a depressed state proved to be a turning point in my life.
As a result, I became a published author, pursued a professional coaching certification, and started a coaching business.
Fast forward to 2022, and it was time for more transformational shifts in my life. The decision to move brought me to my new state, where I returned to an individual contributor role while settling into my new home. The time had come for me to leave my executive position.
Can you learn to walk a path toward your dreams, and not someone else's dreams for you?
This is where your journey of well-being begins. This is where you take the reins of your emotional, physical, and mental health. You are in control. You are in the driver’s seat. This is where you shed the anger and resentment from playing a role. You learn to set boundaries. You learn who and what makes sense for your highest evolution and growth.

What Does it Mean to be Empowered?
There may come a point when you look around at your life and wonder how did I get here? Often, we are on automatic pilot. We follow this subconscious blueprint that our environment, society, and background provide to us automatically. You may have executed the blueprint so well that everyone around you praises you for how amazing your life is.
You may have everything you could want and have no reason to complain. Perhaps you have worked multiple jobs and still have not reached the success you truly desire. However, you got here; you have this gnawing feeling in the pit of your stomach that this cannot be it. Is your world emotionally fulfilling? Then you realize your career is far from in alignment with your dreams. Do you even remember when you had dreams?
All the Possibilities Await You
How could you possibly and abruptly change the trajectory of your life? How could you start over? What would your family think?
Fear is the reason that prevents us from following our most authentic calling and true emotional fulfillment.
“It is only in our darkest hours that we may discover the true strength of the brilliant light within ourselves that can never, ever, be dimmed.”— Doe Zantamata
Imagine living a life where you tell the truth. Tell the truth about who you are and what you desire the most. Perhaps you dream of a new career, writing a book, or traveling. Imagine telling people exactly what you need and surrounding yourself with people that can meet your needs. Your authenticity will benefit not only you but everyone around you.

What is a Navigation Specialist?
When we walk toward ourselves, we step into our true divine power instead of away from ourselves.
As an online certified professional life and career coach, I guide and coach women to change their lives. I help you move beyond your labels and stagnation, whether personal or professional, toward your dreams.
Yes, you have prescribed roles within your family dynamic as a mother, a wife, a sister, and a daughter. You have roles within your career and community, but what if that only scratches the surface of all your possibilities, talents, and potential?
If you strip away the labels, then who are you? Who are you beyond your duties and roles?
With these roles come expectations. Our worth becomes wrapped around our perceived monetary value, our status, and what we have accumulated. This can not amount to the emotional fulfillment you want and desire for your life. Enter a navigation specialist.
